Geoffrey Papin, musician, producer, and sound engineer, was born in France in the early 1990s. He pursued his studies in Acoustic Physics at l'Université du Maine in Le Mans, France, and further honed his musical prowess with two years of intensive study at Jazz à Tours. In 2017, Geoffrey relocated to London to advance his career in the music industry, before moving to Margate (UK) in 2020, to establish his own studio, L'Aurore.

As a predominantly self-taught producer, Geoffrey began by recording and producing his own projects, rapidly gaining recognition and working with notable artists such as Thylacine, Léonie, and Abel Chéret. He started making music for fashion brands (Merlette, Fred...) and was asked to sound design some of their videos. This sparked his interest in sound design. Equipped with on-set location and field recording tools, he developed his expertise as a sound recordist and sound designer, collaborating with acclaimed filmmakers like Adam Carr and Ted Rogers.

Currently, Geoffrey operates L'Aurore studio, where he produces and nurtures local talent such as Ziah Ziah and Clémentine Blue, Lo Barnes, Moa Papillon, Joanna Curwood... etc and sound artist like Emily Peasgood for her exhibition 'Isle of Thanet' at the Turner Museum. Additionally, he continues to develop his own music project, Sisyphes. His collaborations extend to prestigious fashion brands like Hermès and leading advertising firms such as Publicis. Geoffrey remains committed to expanding his skills and exploring innovative opportunities in the audiovisual and interactive media sectors, particularly in the surround sound, atmos and ambisonic soundscaping.
